  1.                                CLUB DEFAULTS

  4.         The Club  Defaults menu is used  to set the type  of "Club" and the
  5.  minimum string  score required for  women and men,  to be considered  as a
  6.  "Club" score.

  17.   Ladies  Minimum  Score   - This option sets the minimum string score that
  18.                              will  be  considered  as  a club score for the
  19.                              bowlers  define  as  having a SEX field of "F"
  20.                              in  the database.  The default has been set to
  21.                              "375"  -  a  Candlepin value. Tenpin and 5-pin
  22.                              leagues  should  change  this  opton   to   an
  23.                              appropriate value.

  25.  Men's Minimum Score       - This option sets the minimum string score that
  26.                              will  be  considered  as  a club score for the
  27.                              bowlers  define  as  having a SEX field of "M"
  28.                              in  the database.  The default has been set to
  29.                              "400"  -  a  Candlepin value. Tenpin and 5-pin
  30.                              leagues  should  change  this  opton   to   an
  31.                              appropriate value.

  33.  Club  Type               -  This option  sets  the  club  type.  Currently
  34.                              there are two options available:
  35.  
  36.                              T  -  Triple  or Series. BowlStat compares the
  37.                                    series  total to the minimum club score.
  38.                                    If  equal  to  or  greater,  the  series
  39.                                    total is considered  a  club  score  and
  40.                                    will  be  printed  if  the  "Print  CLUB
  41.                                    Scores"  option  is enabled in the Print
  42.                                    Menu Options (Average Sheets).

  44.                              S  -  Single. BowlStat compares an  individual
  45.                                    string  total to the minimum club score.
  46.                                    If  equal  to  or  greater,  the  string
  47.                                    total is considered  a  club  score  and
  48.                                    will  be  printed  if  the  "Print  CLUB
  49.                                    Scores"  option  is enabled in the Print
  50.                                    Menu Options (Average Sheets).

  53.                              The  default  has  been set to (T)riple. For a
  54.                              club based on  a  single  string,  change  the
  55.                              option to "S".
  56.  
  57.  NOTES:  The  club  scores  are  retieved  from the Yearly Statistics file.
  58.          Therefore,  the  "Save  Stats/Club  to Disk" option must be set to
  59.          'Y' in the General Defaults menu.

  61.          The  Yearly  Statistics  file  will  increase  in size when bowler
  62.          scores are  entered, causing the  printout of club  scores to slow
  63.          down. This is normal and should be of no concern.
